By accessing this website or engaging the services of World of Cargo (Pty) Ltd ("World of Cargo", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

World of Cargo provides freight forwarding, customs clearance, road transport, sea freight, air freight, warehousing, distribution, and project cargo services. All services are subject to a separate service agreement or quotation accepted by the client. These Terms and Conditions apply in addition to any such agreement.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for the period stated therein and are subject to change based on carrier rate fluctuations, fuel surcharges, currency exchange rates, and regulatory changes. Quotations are not binding until confirmed in writing by World of Cargo. Additional charges may apply for services not specified in the original quotation.

4. Client Obligations

The client agrees to provide accurate, complete, and timely information regarding shipments; comply with all applicable import, export, and customs laws; ensure goods are properly packaged and labelled; settle invoices within agreed payment terms; and notify World of Cargo immediately of any changes to shipment details.

5. Liability

World of Cargo acts as an agent for the client in arranging transportation and related services. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and the standard trading conditions of the South African Association of Freight Forwarders (SAAFF). We are not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, port congestion, or regulatory delays.

6. Cargo Insurance

World of Cargo does not automatically insure cargo on behalf of clients. Clients are strongly advised to arrange appropriate cargo insurance. World of Cargo can arrange marine cargo insurance upon written request; terms and premiums will be quoted separately.

7. Payment Terms

Invoices are payable within the terms agreed in writing. World of Cargo reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts and to withhold delivery of goods or documentation until all outstanding amounts are settled.
